General Academic Requirements Information
- One credit is given to a class that meets 40 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
- Numbered courses must be taken in sequence.
- Algebra I or the equivalent is a prerequisite for Geometry, Algebra 2, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Keyboarding is a prerequisite for computer classes other than Comp Apps I
- A student must be enrolled in a minimum load of five (5) core classes throughout the school year.
- A student may not be enrolled in more than ten (10) credits worth of classes in one year.
- The academic standards committee will consider special curricula problems.
