Maxwell Adventist Academy (M.A.A.) is an international school operated by the East-Central Africa Division of the General Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Maxwell offers an international college preparatory curriculum.
The academy was started in 1947 in Nairobi as a school for expatriates living in Kenya. Maxwell has since moved to a sixty-acre countrysetting twenty‐five kilometers from the city center. The campus is three kilometers west of Ongata Rongai on Magadi Road.
Maxwell Adventist Academy is accredited by the Accreditation Association of Seventh‐day Adventist, Colleges, and Universities and certified by the Kenyan Ministry of Education Science and Technology.
